Dear A,
We went on a plane and bounced at a party
and that kind of fun was just the start-y.
You played with a dog and also your cousins.
And counted “worms” on the beach – dozens!
Love, Mommy, Daddy, Brother, and Sister
I have no idea what those wormy-things were. If anyone knows what the gelatinous tubular slightly yellowish 3-4 inch-long things loosely anchored into the sand by a thin oozy tail under the water at a beach in Alameda in February 2015 were, please let me know. Marine animal egg sac? Sea sponge? Type of kelp? I have looked through a lot of very gross pictures trying to figure it out.
